Better than restaurant quality food,
all prepared in-house using fresh seasonal produce and cooked to
order. We can cater for special dietary needs and are eager to
facilitate all our customers requirements. With a mixture of British
& Continental dishes, we served from a main menu and fortnightly
changing Specials menu.

 The
Trading Room is located on London Road in Westcliff on Sea about a mile from the sea.
The building
used to be an old bank in what used to be one of the richest parts of
Southend on Sea. It is now a smart, stylish, open plan venue with a
horseshoe shaped bar attracting many professional people. During the
day office workers, solicitors and the like enjoy their lunch break here.
Food can be pre-ordered to be ready on arrival, thus saving precious time.
In the evening many come to taste the terrific food and general atmosphere.
Although the restaurant and bar are in one room, the restaurant has been
separated so you don’t get the noise from the bar. All our food is
freshly prepared in-house which allows us to cater for clientele who have
special dietary requirements – we aim to please. The menu is a mixture
of continental and British with a twist. Functions can be catered for
in the restaurant or raised area of the bar.
Pino has been in the trade for about 40 years and a large number of people who
come here are his ex customers from previous bars he has run. He and
the team are very friendly, focussing on customer service. Come and
