 Sir Winston Churchill
is located on the Broadway in Loughton.
This very friendly pub invites people of all ages with everyone
intermingling. There is a regular group of the more mature who meet daily
and the younger people, which includes Law students, generally congregate in
the sports area. We show all the sports including football, rugby and
other requests. To the left of the bar is the dining area which has access to the large enclosed beer garden where
it is safe for the children to play. The food here is a real treat and
very popular. During the week there are usually special deals on offer
too. The pub is very proud of it's achievement in raising £35K for local
charities over the past five years! We hold an annual event for the
children of Debdon (Debdon Davies Appeal). The pub pays for rides, a
bouncy castle, face painting etc., which is free for the children.
Any money left over is put into the charity pot. Try and come to see us soon and maybe
hold a special event here. Your very friendly host and his team will give you all the help
required and make you feel very welcome.
