The
Roaring Donkey
re-opened in March 2008 following a refurbishment. A very large 2 roomed Hungry Horse pub
with a fresh new look, rich coloured decor and new comfortable
seating it is a great environment to relax. There is a sports bar for the over 18's with
plenty of screens showing sport and a
family friendly lounge / eating area. Outside there is a great beer
garden which is very popular with families. The Roaring
Donkey is only 500 metres from the coast and 2 miles from Clacton town
centre. This makes us very well situated for a large range of
people from local residents to holidaymakers alike. Whatever the time of
year we have an excellent extensive menu from which to choose a hearty meal. To ensure complete customer satisfaction each meal is full of
flavour and large in portion, served to you by friendly staff. We
attract a good mixture of customers from younger drinks who use the sports
bar to older residents who find the lounge an especially welcoming place
to relax. Bring your friends and family here soon - you will
