The Globe is Not sure where we are? The Globe is situated on the A1060 which intersects Parkway. If you are walking, we are only about a 7 minute walk from the train station / bus station in Chelmsford, or alternatively we have a large car park should you wish to drive. This nice looking pub has flowers and hedges outside giving it a country inn look and the inside is well laid out, neat, clean and tidy. In March 2008 we were redecorated with a new colour scheme of maroon & creams which gives the pub a warm & inviting feel. We also have additional tables which enables us to seat more diners. There is genuinely something here to suit all tastes and our clientele is mixed. Sport's enthusiasts can watch the main match on the big screen. Good conversation over a quiet drink or meal can be enjoyed in the anywhere in pub with family or friends. Food is served from a varied menu with the Sunday roast being a particular favourite. Wine can be an added touch to your meal, you can choose from our range. There is varied entertainment from a quiz night to Live Bands and we have a good base of regular locals and lots of new faces at the weekends.
