 The Globe is situated on the A1060 which
intersects Parkway. If you are walking, we are only about a 7
minute walk from the train station / bus station in Chelmsford, or
alternatively we have a large car park should you wish to drive. This nice looking pub
has flowers and hedges outside giving it a country inn look and the
inside is well laid out, neat, clean and tidy.
We have a maroon &
cream colour scheme which gives the pub a warm & inviting feel. We also have
additional tables which enables us to seat more diners.
There is genuinely something here to suit all tastes and our clientele
is mixed. Sport's enthusiasts
can watch the
main match on the big screen. Good
conversation over a quiet drink or meal can be enjoyed
in the anywhere in pub with family or friends. Food is
served
from a varied John Barras menu with the Sunday roast being a
particular favourite. Wine
can be an added touch to your meal, you can choose from our range. There is
varied entertainment from a quiz night to the ever popular poker league. We have a good base of regular locals and lots of new
faces at the weekends. This comfortable, great pub welcomes
