 The Duke of Wellington is situated in the village of Hatfield Peverel,
approximately eight miles from Chelmsford. There is a railway station
which gives us an easy link to London. The pub is an old building, retaining a traditional feel with
olde worlde beams throughout, wood, brick and glass. Inside there is
the bar on one side
with a proper darts area which is quite a feature and attraction. The restaurant, to the
other side is small enough, having about 50 seats, to give personal
service. We offer quality home cooked food at reasonable prices, from the
bespoke bar and restaurant menus. All food is prepared using fresh produce. Outside, the enclosed garden
allows you to
let children run around freely, enjoy the play area and even play football
on the small pitch. The team of friendly, helpful staff
offering good service await your visit.
