'CLASSIC CARVERY' DINING AT OUR PUB

We think variety is the spice of life, so we work closely with our butcher to bring you a great selection of prime meats all roasted to perfection.

Our Carvery offer changes daily, usually offering a choice of 3 roasted joints from the following selection:
Norfolk turkey, Matured Saxon British beef, Norfolk stuffed belly pork, West Country shoulder of lamb, Leg of pork, Roasted gammon.

All served with a Yorkshire pudding, chipolata and stuffing, accompanied by your choice of freshly prepared vegetables and topped off with lashings of gravy. Don�t forget to help yourself to our selection of sauces and mustards.

Monday - Saturday �5.25. Sunday �7.99.

The Bread & Cheese is located on the main A13 London Road not far from Benfleet and is much improved from previous times. Today it is a very busy pub serving great value food and offering a range of quality drinks. Our daily carvery is very popular which is served alongside our main menu in the good-sized restaurant area. There are also another fifty seats in the bar. Although open plan there is a natural divide between diners and people who simply want a drink and to watch the sport. We also have a private area for parties, meetings and private dining. A more intimate atmosphere is created in the evening by candles on the tables. The beer garden is to the rear of the pub with benches and a patio area covered by a pergola - an attractive area to enjoy a drink or meal in the summer sunshine. Come and see us soon.
