 The Anchor is situated on the south bank of the river Crouch in rural Essex. Large family
pub with indoor and outdoor play areas, bouncy castle and tuck shop. Beautiful
gardens (which seat nearly 400) overlook the river with yachting clubs opposite
and adjacent. We offer fine beers and wines, an extensive menu served all
day, summer bottled beer bar and tuck shop.
Don't forget there is also a children's play area in the garden to keep the kids busy. From the A130 (Southend to Chelmsford) turn off at Rawreth junction and
follow signs to Hullbridge. Follow Ferry Road to the end, and the Anchor Inn is to
be found by the riverside. Barry, Pauline and their friendly team will make you
feel most welcome.
