 Situated South of Middlesbrough in the quiet residential area of Thornaby, off the A19, The Roundel went through a complete refurbishment and change of concept in Spring 2011. We are now part of the Flaming Grill group. It is still the same excellent community local it always has been with a good following because of it's atmosphere and facilities. Now we are serving good pub food from an extensive main menu in the restaurant and bar. Welcoming families, our staff will ensure you have a great time in the comfortable lounge, restaurant or bar area which houses the big screen, pool table & darts board. In modern surroundings with creams, terracotta's & a light & airy feel, you can enjoy a hearty meal with something for all ages, or sample a quality pint at the bar. The Roundel holds weekly quizzes and other entertainment, including sport shown on all the screen. This is the best pub for away supporters to Middlesbrough Football Club, who create a good atmosphere. Whatever you look for in a pub the Roundel aims to offer it.
