Situated
South of Middlesbrough in the quiet residential area of Thornaby, off the
A19, The Roundel was refurbished and re-developed
in December 2004 into a trouble free,
female friendly venue. Since it's refurbishment this former carvery
is still the same excellent community local it always has been with a good following
because of it's atmosphere and facilities. Welcoming families, our
staff will ensure you have a great time in the comfortable lounge,
restaurant or bar area which houses the big screen, pool table & darts
board. In modern surroundings with creams, terracotta's & a light
& airy feel, you can enjoy
a hearty meal with something for all ages, or sample a quality pint at the
bar. We are famous for our delicious Sunday Roasts with a choice of
meats and fresh vegetables. The Roundel
holds weekly quizzes and other entertainment, including sport shown on the
big screen. This is the best pub for away supporters to
Middlesbrough Football Club, who create a good atmosphere. Whatever
you look for in a pub the Roundel aims to offer it. We look forward
to welcoming you soon.
