 The
Yachtsman is
about 100 years old and situated in Hamworthy, surrounded by houses, only
seven minutes from the beach and park. Known for our quality,
home made food, we have many holiday makers visiting us for meals and a
drink during the summer months, many staying at Rockley Caravan Park
which is not far from us. Other clientele include families,
holiday home owners, local regulars and people from the nearby marine
base who join us in the evening. Outside we have a lovely fenced
in garden with an outdoor play area ideal for the children with plenty
of seats and space to play. Highchairs and crayons are available
to help make for more relaxed adult dining. Inside this attractive
pub the bar and restaurant are more open plan and
contemporary in style. Two open fires which are lit in winter give a cosy feel and we can cater
for up to 122 people dining. We find our bar area
is where most people enjoy their drink rather than dining, but feel free to
enjoy your meal anywhere. We have comfy sofas and differing sized tables to
choose where you are most comfortable. We also offer free wi-fi
