& Railway is situated in a residential area attracting families
and couples from the local area and further afield. Visitors to Moors
Valley Country Park & Forest with it's beautiful walks, trail way and
outdoor adventure trail often stop here. We reopened in October 2008
following a major refurbishment to offer quality pub food. The extensive food menu offers you plenty of choice
and we have a wide range of drinks to accompany your chosen meal. The
pub is traditionally decorated but with contemporary touches we have created
a fantastic new look. Our open plan layout with its good lighting
offer diners the best environment to enjoy their meal, whether in the bar or
restaurant area. We have been recognised for the quality of our real
ales, being awarded 'Beautiful Beer Award 2008' and are Cask Marque accredited.
