Situated on a cliff top four to five miles from Bournemouth town centre
you will find the Spyglass & Kettle,
with towns such as Boscombe and Southbourne close by.
Inside has
bright and fresh decor with a homely traditional feel. This old building
used to be called the Ocean before it became the Spyglass & Kettle and
is a good family friendly venue with a welcoming atmosphere. Although this is a destination food house many locals come to enjoy
their favourite pint here, relax and have a chat with friends.
Food is served from an extensive main menu and the weekday offer is very
popular. You can dine anywhere inside the pub,
the most popular area being the conservatory (built on in about
1991) and there is a range of wines to choose from to perfect the meal. Although the garden is surrounded by
bushes, most of the hotel rooms overlook the sea. If you are in
the area be sure to visit this 'one off' venue soon and perhaps stay the
night in
an en-suite room. You will be given a warm welcome.
