Contractors are welcome & a stay of more than 2 nights will be cheaper.

The Somerset is situated on a corner five minutes from the centre of Weymouth and close to the beach and railway station.  This traditional British pub has stately high ceilings and a mirror backed bar.  There is rumoured to be a ghostly presence in the pub as strange things are known to happen, such as lights going on etc!  We were famous in the 1970's for being a biker's pub.  To commemorate World War II many veterans visit the Somerset Hotel during Veterans Awareness Week which is held in June each year.  This is not arranged by the Somerset but we are a good place to have a bite to eat, drink and rest.  This is an ideal location for exploring the Dorset coastline and we offer modern, homely accommodation for visitors to the area who do just that.  This is a high quality Hall & Woodhouse Pub where the real ale is served to perfection so come along soon and try this fantastic pub.
