 The
Smugglers Inn
is located in
Weymouth, Dorset on the Jurassic Coast path. We find that people walk to and from places such as Ringstead
and then enjoy a meal with us. This idyllic pub dates back to the
13th Century and has been sympathetically extended keeping a traditional
feel with wooden beams, stone slab flooring and a very large original
fireplace. The two stove fires are lit in winter. Our garden is picturesque with
pretty flowers beds, a big lawn, views of surrounding fields and a stream
which runs right through which is lovely to sit by. You can walk down to the
beach from here so plenty of holiday makers and day trippers come,
many who stay in the holiday parks around us. We are also popular
with business people and local regulars who come in for lunch but also
others who drive out to us. There is
also a children's play area outside which is very handy for families. You are welcome
to dine anywhere in the pub and we offer a restaurant table service
during the quieter months. This destination
food house is very popular in summer and has a more
relaxed feel in winter. Come and try us soon. |
