 The Red Lion
is a great family pub and sports bar
located on the main road into Poole. The sports area has hardwood flooring and high seating, whilst
the rest of the open plan family dining area is
decorated in neutral tones with splashes of red.
Pictures of local celebrities and the surrounding
area are displayed on the walls. Known
affectionately by the locals as 'The Cat', the Red
Lion boarders onto woodland and is just five
minutes from the beach. We are also only a mile from
Rockley Park caravan park and a three minute walk from Cobb's Quay yacht moorings. We have a large regular
locals following as well as attracting many passers
by. Due to a
fire on 1st April 2008 the Red Lion has had a full
refurbishment and although built in the early 20th
Century it has always been a pub. Whatever your reason for
visiting us, be it a delicious meal from the Hungry Horse menu or a quality
drink from the bar, you will be given a warm welcome by our team and
clientele. |
