The
Old Rooms Inn has an ideal location beside the quay in
Weymouth. We re-opened in February 2008 following a refurbishment with
a new contemporary look but with a traditional twist. We have relaxed
surroundings with comfy furnishings. Attractively decorated with hanging baskets during the
summer, the building is listed and has an olde worlde style with wooden
beams. The conservatory is in keeping with the same style. Our
clientele includes a steady flow of 'yachties’
all the year round, scuba divers moor their boats outside and pop in and of
course we get tourists. This is a very friendly venue with a nice
atmosphere and everyone is made welcome. There are two restaurants
with the top one being quite separate. You can dine anywhere inside,
or outside on the cobbled patio area overlooking the quayside. Freshly
prepared, cooked to order food is served from an extensive main menu and
specials board. There is a good range of
wines to choose from to make your meal extra special or excellent real ales
if you prefer. You can watch the lifeboat launch from the pub
when the cannons go off, moored within distance of pub. They often
come back and turn around outside the pub to moor up. In the summer
you can see the Weymouth firework display on a Monday when everyone comes
down to watch it. There are many good reasons to put this pub on your
'must try' list, so we hope to see you very soon.
