The
Old Granary is situated
beside the river on the edge of Wareham which is within walking
distance. This impressive old building used to be a grain
house owned by the Oakley Brothers. Although much of it is
contemporary making it light and airy it also has a traditional feel
with the wood burners, beams and stone flooring. Glass doors
take in the lovely view with a big open roof terrace offering al
fresco dining with lots of seating, weather permitting.
Holiday makers and day trippers visit us in the warmers months
alongside our regular locals. The riverside location is lovely
for children to feed the ducks and swans. Families are welcome
and can dine anywhere. We don't have a separate children's
menu but we do accommodate pasta dishes, sharing dishes etc
Visitors to Corfe Castle and those taking one of the many walks
round us find this an ideal venue to pop in for a
meal. See you soon. |
