The Junction
is a traditional coaching inn, located in the heart of the
historic market town of Dorchester. The hotel offers 6 rooms,
refurbished to a high standard in Spring 2008 and offering free
Wi-Fi, luxurious bedding, tea and coffee in each room and
en-suite facilities. Dorchester is an historic market town
best known for its links with Thomas Hardy and his novel 'The
Major of Casterbridge'. Enjoy the ambience and atmosphere of
Dorchester itself with its famous market on a Wednesday. Other
attractions include the Dinosaur Museum, Roman Town House,
Thomas Hardy Cottage and the giant fort, just outside the town,
dating from 3000BC. The heart and soul of the hotel
remains the pub itself and there is plenty of opportunity to
find a cosy corner in our traditional bar. Whatever time of day
you pop into the Junction, there's plenty of atmosphere as
customers tuck into the fine food or sample a selection of the
superb choice of cask ales, beers, lagers, wines & soft drinks.
