The Hope & Anchor is your good, old fashioned family friendly pub, located a mile from the sea in the town of Bridport.  We are not in the centre but are next to a large car park and within easy reach of the shops.  Our real ales are renowned in the area attracting many CAMRA members to come here often to sample our excellent range of cask ales.  There is a games / family room with a pool table and comfy seating to relax with family and friends.  All food is freshly prepared and we serve novelties such as old fashioned filled toasties where you choose your own fillings.  The atmosphere here is enhanced by our child friendly pub dogs; Nobby and George.  Other entertainment includes regular live music, especially the soon to be famous "Moontown", who play here often.  Come and join us you will not be disappointed.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
