The
Halfway Inn,
as the name suggests, used to be a Coaching Inn and is a listed
building. Situated between Wareham and Corfe
Castle, it is close to attractions such as the Tank Museum, Monkey World and also
is not far from Swanage. In keeping with an English traditional
pub, there are low beams, a large open fireplace and
wood burner. About half the building is thatched
which is quite a feature. In general we are mainly
a destination dining venue with people coming quite
a distance to sample our freshly prepared, cooked to
order delicious food. Be sure to call in and
try this attractive venue soon. |
