The Half Moon is situated on the main A350, a ten minute walk from the outskirts of Shaftsbury.  Local attractions include Longleat at Warminster and Bath which is 45 minutes drive from here.  Outside there is a large walled garden with a sizeable play area to keep our younger visitors occupied whilst the adults soak up the summer sun and enjoy some uninterrupted conversation.  The pub itself is open plan with an air of spaciousness.  It is L-shaped and you can sit wherever you like, even just for a drink.  We serve quality food from our own main menu and there is a good choice of wines or real ales, if preferred, to complement your meal.  Our reputation is such that you will be sure to return when you have tasted our delicious food.  See you soon.
