 Darbys
Corner is situated to the bottom of the Broadstone area of Poole
serving a good clientele of passers by as we are on
the main road to Poole and Wimborne. There is
also good access to the M27 motorway. We are not far
from Tower Park and are also on the main access road
to Poole North. Built with perfect stone in
1957, it looks like a little castle, complete with
turrets! Nothing has changed much as we still
have that traditional feel with the art deco theme
coming through in the furniture. As well as the main
bar and restaurant areas to enjoy your meal and
drink, we also have the library with fully invoiced
books to peruse over a drink. There is a
lovely atmosphere in the summer months as the
holiday makers or day trippers dine with us whilst
heading to and from the beach. We welcome
families so you can bring along the children and
there is also weekly live music and a quiz for the
adults which the local regulars particularly enjoy.
We also show Sport on the 50" plasma screen.
