Britannia Inn is a 300 year, Grade II listed old inn. The
building is also an ancient monument. Since 1999, the premises
have been restored in keeping with the age of the property. There is always a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome for all
our customers new and old. A
selection of cask ales is always available. The Inn is situated in the centre of
town, a very short walk from the abbey and shops, a 15 minute walk from the
castles and also within 2 - 3 minutes of all the boys school houses.
