The Amberwood is well
situated close to the A35 and just a ten minute
drive from the New Forest and picturesque coastline.
This has been a family
run business for many years which shows in the
many positive comments received. The bar is traditionally decorated with wood
beams and a fairly open yet cosy ambience.
There is
a friendly atmosphere which encourages people on
there own to feel relaxed when they join us along
with the
couples and groups clientele. We have a good
base of local regulars and more mature customers. There are traditional
games still played in the bar and one of them which
draws people to specifically come here is
'Ringing the Bull'. The aim is to get
the Bull ring traditionally swung on a rope from the
ceiling hooked onto the set of bull horns on the
wall - try it next time you are visit - there's an
abacus to keep score! When dining we usually say 'the best tables are the
booked tables'. As one of our diners
comments on our website "another visit to the Amberwood for a meal with friends and it didn't
disappoint. I would recommend this one to anyone!". With a good selection of
entertainment to complement your meal or quality
drink this is a venue to put on your 'must try soon'
list. You too will make the Amberwood a
regular haunt. |
