The
White Hart Hotel is one of
Exeter’s most historic Inns. It is thought to be originally a
resting place for monks and later became a Coaching Inn. Today, the
hotel retains much of its heritage and charm and yet offers the
business or leisure visitor all the facilities and amenities of
modern living. The White Hart boasts 55 en-suite rooms. Food and drink
are available
daily with a choice of areas to dine. You can chose your meal
from an extensive selection of freshly cooked food and there is a
comprehensive wine list. All tastes are catered for. Our
function room is an excellent choice for business meetings and other
special occasions. Located in a
central position within the old city walls, it is ideally placed to
enjoy all the City has to offer. The City boasts its famous
Gothic Cathedral but it is worth taking the guided walks, which take
visitors through the passageways and waterways of this interesting
Devon capital. Exeter also has a newly revamped shopping
centre. There
are a number of beautiful walks, including the Exeter Canal,
which finally makes its way to the Exe Estuary. Des and the
pub's friendly team will definitely make your visit here a pleasant
one.
