The Waterside is located in Goodrington on the main
road just outside Paignton, easily accessible as it is on the main bus route. Built in 1938
the pub has a picturesque setting just two minutes from the sea.
Fully refurbished to a high standard in November 2007, we have moved
away from the dark, traditional look of old, to a new contemporary
style. With a light and airy feel, the bar area has comfy lounge
seating with sofas and tub chairs to relax on alone or with friends.
Our extensive menu offers something for all tastes, with a range of
hearty dishes, vegetarian dishes and children's options. The
Sunday carvery remains popular, with UK reared meats and fresh seasonal
vegetables. Why not complete your meal with a choice wine or a
Cask Marqued real ale if preferred and you will have a day to remember.
Outside is decorated with floral displays and there is a patio area to
enjoy the summer weather.
The Waterside is a very popular venue with local regulars and holiday makers alike
as we always
offer very good food with a good range of beers and other drinks, so call in next time you
are in the area and see for yourself.
