Royal Oak pub, South Brent, Dartmoor

The Royal Oak is an award winning pub located in the centre of the small village of South Brent on the edge of Dartmoor. Having been refurbished in July 2008 it has been beautifully renovated and you will see how a local pub can retain it's character yet move forward with confidence in today's challenging marketplace. We have added a conservatory style roof to one of the restaurant which creates a lovely dining experience and glass doors which lead out on to the covered no smoking courtyard.  We pride ourselves on serving superb quality Food and Real Ales, we even took care to refurbish our cellar and are tremendously proud that South Devon CAMRA chose us as their branch pub of the year for 2009 - a truly special achievement.  Attracting clientele from the local community and further a field, it has a good reputation for food and real ales.  Come and enjoy a comfortable meal which can be enjoyed anywhere in the pub or restaurant, grab a snack or just sample one of our fine real ales whilst reading the paper relaxing in one of our comfy leather armchairs. Andrew, Carol and all the award winning team look forward to welcoming you to their pub. Your first visit is sure not to be your last.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
