 Dartmoor Halfway Inn is, as
the name suggests, located between Ashburton and Newton Abbot, just
four miles from Dartmoor, an area of
outstanding natural beauty. This is an ideal base for visiting most of
Devon and it's many tourist attractions. The Inn itself has 12th century origins,
when it was a 'change' Coaching House, providing a change of horses
for private carriages and a bed for the night. Today this
distinctive family-run Inn and caravan park offers you a warm
welcome, homemade food and
comfortable chalet accommodation. With its
whitewashed walls and blue shutters outside, the inside is a mix of
traditional and the more modern, with spacious dining for the
whole family. Our extensive menu has something for everyone
from light snacks to a la carte meals served in our famous restaurant.
We cater for all, from family parties to romantic dinners
for two. The caravan park has 22 spaces and modern facilities to
help make your holiday as easy-going as possible. Double or
