MAJOR REFURBISHMENT	The Barn Owl was taken over by Hall & Woodhouse brewery in 2007. We have since had a major Ł1.2 million refurbishment. The building has been restored to it's former glory with kitchen facilities. We are decorated in traditional style with a contemporary twist boasting lounge areas with comfy sofas in the popular balcony / mezzanine area & a beautiful cottage garden. We also have several roaring log fire's.

FUNCTION ROOM	Our 'Drawing Room' is suitable for at least 34 guests or use our balcony if you prefer. Smaller more intimate rooms are available if required - please call to discuss your requirements

DINING AT THE BARN OWL

We have a new open plan 140 cover dining area where you can choose a great selection of traditional English Fayre from our full menu or children's menu. Al fresco dining in the garden is popular during the summer. There is a choice of fine wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks to complement your meal.

Many of the ingredients we use are sourced in with meats coming from Sussex, Fruit & Vegetables from Christchurch or Dorset & Cheeses from the West Country.

The Barn Owl pub, Kingskerswell, Newton Abbot. The Barn Owl is a charming 300 year old farmhouse. This Inn offers a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy a meal and drink. It is located on the outskirts of the English Riviera, midway between Torquay and Newton Abbot, making it ideally situated for you to enjoy the many attractions the area has to offer. Our redevelopment saw the Inn become being restored to it's former glory showing off it's charm. The Barn Owl serves a great selection of traditional English Fayre which on sunny days and warm nights can also be enjoyed alfresco-style in the garden. The ancient market town of Newton Abbot is just a couple of miles away, as is the English Riviera and the three resorts of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. If you are keen on horse racing, Newton Abbot has its own racecourse and it is only a short but pretty car ride to the Dartmoor National Park which you can incorporate en route with a visit to Stover Park.
