The Anchor Inn is an idyllic colour-washed
hotel overlooking the sea on the East Devon Coast. As
you might expect from the name and location, our bars and restaurant
specialise in fresh local seafood, though we offer a wide range of other
dishes too. These delicious meals can be complemented by your choice
of bottle from a comprehensive wine list. We serve fine ales which you would expect from an Inn located in the village of Beer!
Our bedrooms are attractively decorated with sea views. All have usual facilities such as colour TV and tea / coffee making facilities.
Our room prices include a full English breakfast which is a welcome
meal before starting the day. If you like cliff-top walks and picturesque and romantic sea views,
you'll be spoilt for choice. You can sit out in our beer garden
which is very popular in the
summer, while open fires keep our bars cosy in the colder months. Beer itself is a delightful picture postcard village, once famous for its
smugglers and the highly valued Beer stone, used in pottery and buildings
such as St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London.
The Anchor Inn has very welcoming and helpful staff who are here to make
your stay a very pleasurable one. |
