Ye
Olde Macdonalds Farm is ideally situated in the centre of
Alfreton. Stuart, the publican, has been here since the beginning of
2004 and has worked hard to improve the facilities on offer, including the
food. Although this is chosen from a value for money menu, the quality
is there and this is proved by the increase in trade at the weekends and the
comments received from the clientele. The pub is big on Sport and
shows all important matches, not just football, on the only big screen in
town. The bar has a good selection of drinks, many at discounted
prices! At weekends we are part of a circuit and become a lively
venue, but remain trouble free since being part of the Alfreton Pubwatch
Scheme. If you are looking for a place to hold a special do, why not
consider our function room with a capacity of up to 100 people. We are
easily accessible by car with parking at the rear, so call in and
try this classic pub soon. Stuart and the team look forward to your
visit.
