 Yates's is located in the centre of
Derby with good access to the shops and close to the cathedral within
the cathedral quarter. A smart, modern bar, we are well known as a
chameleon venue. During the day time there is a light, airy atmosphere and we play relaxed,
low background music. We are popular with shoppers, families, tourists
and students
for our tasty, value for money pub food and being a good place to relax with
friends and colleagues over a drink. In the evening we transform into a
lively, party venue, with a crowd ranging from 18 – 35’s with
an older group at the weekends. Fully refurbished in 2004 and re-decorated
in 2006 with new fixtures and fittings, the bar has a contemporary style with
creams, pale blues and light furniture. There is booth seating and
different levels with a couple of sofas and intimate corners. The upstairs bar is a popular
place to hold all sorts of private
parties. With friendly staff to greet you this is a trouble free venue
to call in when visiting Derby.
