Wheatsheaf Hotel, Baslow

The Wheatsheaf Hotel is located in a rural area within the small village of Baslow, just a mile from Chatsworth House and close to the market town of Bakewell.  This 17th Century Coaching Inn is open plan and has a traditional look with a real fire in the bar.  We have approximately 120 covers for dining.  Outside there is a garden with about 30 benches and a Patio area which has a further 60 covers for dining.  Both are very popular in the summer time especially as it is one of the largest beer gardens for miles around.  Our clientele range from the local regulars to ramblers and tourists.  Good pub food is served from a main menu and Specials board, offering a range of dishes.  If you are exploring the local area, why not book an en suite room and enjoy your Derbyshire experience in comfort.  You will be made very welcome.
