The Market is a town centre pub with an excellent reputation for good food and drink served in a safe, friendly environment which has been achieved over a number of years.  The venue is located in the bottom smaller market square in Chesterfield where the local market is held Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This is a one room pub, very small with one original centre bar in an L shaped room.  Homemade food is served from a seasonal main menu and specials board using locally sourced ingredients. There is a good range of wines to accompany your meal or a selection of real ales if you prefer.  When you are next in this historical town you will be made very welcome at The Market.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
