The
Market is a town centre pub with an excellent reputation for good
food and drink served in a safe, friendly environment which has been
achieved over a number of years. The venue is located in the bottom
smaller market square in Chesterfield where the local market is held Monday, Thursday,
Friday and Saturday. This is a one room pub, very small with one original
centre bar in an L shaped room. Homemade food is served from a
seasonal main menu and specials board using locally sourced ingredients. There is a good range of wines to accompany your
meal or a selection of real ales if you prefer. When you are next in
this historical town you will be made very welcome at The Market.
