of 28 days before being seared on

 The Highwayman
is a destination food house situated on
the edge of the Peak District within a beautiful rural setting with
farmland and open countryside all around. Chatsworth House is just
a ten minute drive from us and we welcome tourists visiting the area
along with ramblers, many of whom become our regular local clientele.
The new Premier Inn next door, makes us the ideal base for visitors to
the area. We also welcome children and make a fuss of them at festive times like
Christmas or Halloween when we give sweets out. We are not a
typical Beefeater establishment having a rustic feel and furniture with
some contemporary touches. The main restaurant with its 120 covers
is part decorated in mint green with dark wood with the top area having
sumptuous silver wallpaper and warm colours. This is a lovely
place to dine. For those wishing to celebrate a birthday or
private function we can cater for this in a raised area of the pub which
has an open fire, very welcome on colder days and decorated in a
beautiful deep plum colour and dark wood. Come and try us next
time you are in the area and meet the very friendly staff who will make
you feel at home. |
