 The
Golden Pheasant is quite a large and attractive pub, situated on
the Derby Ring Road, surrounded by housing. We re-opened following a
refurbishment in April
2008 with a great new look and special features such as booth seating with
TV's in them. The pub is set over two floors and is decorated with
rich colours reds, oranges and greens giving a contemporary look and warm
feel. Like all Hungry Horse pubs we pride ourselves on offering
quality pub food, in big portions by friendly and helpful staff. Our food
can be chosen from a new main menu, full of all types of dishes and
afterwards, to complement your meal, there is a range of drinks available. Our
relaxed atmosphere during the day turns to one which is more lively at
night. There is a state of the art sound system as well as many behind the scene
changes. The pub is segregated so that you can chill out in one area
whilst elsewhere others have a more energetic time. The sound system
enables us to manipulate the levels to cater for peoples differing needs.
Our sport enthusiasts are well catered for with pool and darts along with a big
screen showing all the games. This is a very pleasant pub with friendly
staff here to offer you a trouble free environment. We hope to see you
