transformed in October 2006, The GF Bar @ the Golden Fleece offers customers
a City experience in a Town Centre location. This stylish bar creates
a sophisticated and comfortable environment for all customers of enjoy.
With a well stocked bar including many premium brands, all served by
friendly bar staff. A vibrant, yet relaxed feel combining contemporary
and traditional features with fabulous artwork, open fires and mood lighting
to wash the walls with different colours, creates a unique look.
During the daytime business professionals, local clerical staff and shoppers
visit us for a drink and a light bite, a main meal, or a tea/coffee and a
slice of home-made cake!! We have wi-fi access to cater for our
business customers and free table service throughout the day. All our
meals are freshly made from locally produced produce. Our Head Chef
prides himself on the dishes he prepares, and customers return time after
time to try various meals. Our evenings suit all tastes, whether you
