Devonshire Arms is an old English style country pub which
was originally a farm. Situated to the side of St Peters church, in a
quiet location overlooking High Peak Golf Course, there are picturesque views
from the pub. With Buxton town centre just 3 minutes
walk away, which has amenities such as a train and bus station, we are the
ideal base for peak district walking, shopping and sightseeing. As
well as being a
local community pub we have comfortable accommodation. This is in the
form of six recently refurbished cottage style rooms, adjacent to the pub
which are available at very reasonable rates and come with all modern
facilities. You will always be served by friendly staff and able to
meet our regulars. Visitors are made to
feel very welcome. Good pub food is served six days a week with favourite
dishes such as lasagne and steak. We can also cater for vegetarian
diners. We have disabled
facilities and an outdoor play area for children with a slide, climbing
frame, rope bridge etc. Whatever your reason to visit us, you will be
sure of a hospitable greeting.
