In Summer 2011 we introduced an exciting
new Buffet to our food offering. As well as the extensive main menu
served every day we also have an evening fresh & reasonably priced
buffet available to all. There are also themed buffet nights throughout

 The
Castlewood
is to be found where the A38 joins the M1 at South Normanton, not far from
Alton Towers, Matlock and Donnington. We do have local regulars but
most of our clientele are families and business people staying at the
Premier Inn, passers by on their travels or others attending a meeting at
Touchbase next door. We have a large bar
area with a flat plasma screen showing Sky Sports News and other sporting events. When we are busy bar staff adjust and offer a quicker service whereas at
quieter times they will chat more to people. Quality Brewers Fayre food is
served at a reasonable price from an extensive menu
and the children's menu has appetizing choices for
our younger visitors. You place your food and
initial drinks order at the till but from then on
you can order drinks, tea, coffee and desserts from
the waiter / waitress at your table. We are a
great place to dine or have a drink when taking a
break. We are very popular with families as we
have a Fun Factory to keep the youngsters amused
indoors and, if the weather is fine, the outdoor
play area is even better. Come and try this
sociable venue next time you're passing. |
