At the Boundary, we
specialise in traditional pub food at great value for money
prices. You can choose from our selection of classic pub dishes
such as fish and chips, sausage and mash, lasagne and steaks. We
also have a range of light bites and sandwiches if you prefer a
smaller meal. Food and drink can be enjoyed in our large bar
with views over the Derbyshire countryside or on the terrace in
the warmer weather.

 The Boundary is conveniently
located in South Normanton, within five minutes of Junction 28 of
the M1, fifteen miles from Derby
and less than ten miles from Mansfield, close to Chatsworth
House. After refurbished Autumn 2011 we were
unrecognisable with new stylish decor, fixtures & fittings plus
an indoor play area. The outdoor seating area overlooks the cricket pitch
to
one side and a football field to the other. This pub
has amazing views looking over the Derbyshire Dales which makes
us popular with walkers and we have a dog park where they can be tethered outside
with
water provided for them. There is easy access with ramps all the way around
and full disabled facilities. The hotel also has rooms on the ground floor for wheelchair / disabled users. There is a
separate indoor family area with seating space for families and
toys available. Our indoor childrens play area will keep the
little ones amused and outside there is also a children’s
adventure fort for our younger visitors. We are the ideal choice for
conferences, civil ceremonies and private celebrations with a
250 capacity function suite available for private hire along
with a smaller meeting room for more intimate gatherings. Our
thirteen bed
accommodation refurbishment was completed in 2011 and
all the rooms boast a bath and overhead shower along with plasma
screens. This is
the perfect
stopping place for business travellers or an ideal base for
get-togethers. You can dine throughout this open plan
venue in any area
choosing from a varied main menu offering great pub food at
affordable prices.
We even have a fantastic range of entertainment including live music weekly.
