Welcome
to this world-famous Inn - the birthplace of climbing - dramatically
surrounded by England's tallest mountains, making it the finest base for
walking and climbing. The Wasdale Head Inn
is in the company of some great landmarks of remote and unspoiled Wasdale.
We are in a superb setting for putting your feet up and considering your
feat of the day! The pub oozes history with oak panelled walls and a magnificent
collection of climbing photos. You can sink into the deeply
comfortable sofas of our lounge or retire to a well appointed bedroom or
self catering apartment. Our dining room is an excellent place to
enjoy a hearty meal which can be chosen from an inventive menu and can seat
up to 28 people. This is
a pub and a part of Britain not to be missed.
