The Sun pub, PenrithThe Sun is the ideal pub to visit, stay at overnight or for a wonderful holiday.  We have excellent facilities for our guests with rooms of all sizes complete with en-suite (all with new beds, bedding etc).  We welcome dogs and have a drying room for those wet clothes and boots.  If you prefer a quiet stay, then book for a visit in autumn, winter or spring when the rates are lower.  If you are looking for peace and quiet, then avoid the bank holidays.  Coach parties can be catered for by prior arrangement.  There are log fires to create a warm and cosy atmosphere for all.  With good quality food and excellent Jennings real ales this is a pub not to be missed.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
