The
Screes Inn is a family run establishment offering a friendly
relaxed atmosphere with an open roaring log fire on chilly days and nights. We offer a wide ranging menu including both
traditional and vegetarian food, all of which is prepared using fresh local
produce. We are proud of our entries in guide books including the Viva
Vegetarian Guide. There is an excellent selection of real
ales and wines. Located in the valley of Wasdale at the foot of
Wastwater we have beautiful views of the surrounding fells, our situation is unique. This is the heart of the Lake
District with excellent access for fell walking, mountain biking and diving
in Wastwater. Groups are always welcome. The Screes Inn is an experience that should not be
missed.
