Royal OakThe Royal Oak is a small family run pub with a warm welcoming atmosphere and enjoys a busy life all the year round.  Situated in the very heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, The Royal Oak is literally a stone's throw from Bowness Bay piers, Lake Windermere and only a few minutes walk from many traditional craft and gift shops.  The whole family is welcome and the pub has a wide soft drinks, range of real ales and beers plus excellent home cooked food.  We offer superb accommodation with most rooms having en-suite facilities and all having central heating, tea and coffee making facilities, a colour television and of course a bed!.
