The Red Lion Inn
is a traditional 15th Century Lakeland Inn situated in heart of the
beautiful village of Hawkshead, part of the English Lake District. The Inn is the ideal base from which to explorer the Lake District
and is perfect for
those wishing to visit the villages of Hawkshead, Ambleside, Windermere,
Keswick and Bowness. It is also a great place for a relaxing break in one of
the quieter, yet more interesting corners of the Lake District.
At the Red Lion you
will find home made dishes made using high quality ingredient many of which
are sourced from within Cumbria which you can enjoy in the bar.
From the bar we offer a
wide range of wines, spirits and superbly kept cask ales from around the
area. Here
at the Red Lion you will find comfortable individually styled rooms with a
homely feel.
