We now have luxury 5 classic rooms and suites which are aptly named after former landowners of Lupton (Lupeton) dating as far back as "Torsin" in the Domesday survey of 1058 to Sir Richard Musgrave in 1681.

Each room is individually decorated in the calming, earthy tones of Farrow and Ball, large sash windows give a light and airy ambience. Add to this fabulously large bathrooms roll top baths with feature lighting and monsoon showers, luxury Sedbergh based Bath House products, and you soon realise this could is perfect countryside home from home from which to explore the Lakes and Dales.

Plough pub & hotel, LuptonAt The Plough you will find a traditional oak beamed lounge bar offering cask conditioned ales, continental beers and lagers.  Don't miss the renowned bar meal menu, featuring a large selection of home cooked speciality dishes and traditional country fayre.  In the intimate surroundings of the pub you can choose from an extensive a la carte menu, with a wide range of English and Continental dishes, plus specials board.  The wine list has been carefully selected to complement our mouth watering dishes.  The pubs accommodation is of a high standard with each bedroom being en-suite and having colour TV, direct dial telephone and tea / coffee making facilities.  For that special occasion why not stay in our well appointed Ruskin Suite.  Our function room caters for conferences, meetings and functions.  Whatever the occasion you may be rest assured of prompt, friendly, efficient and unobtrusive service from attentive and professional staff.  Depending on the layout of seating this room can hold up to 150 people.  The suite is self contained with private bar and dance area, ensuring the event is a private affair.  With good food, excellent en-suite accommodation and function facility, real ales, entertainment, and nearby golf courses, the Plough Hotel is the ideal venue.
