LEEK SHOW |
On the last weekend in
September every year The Miners Arms hosts the Nenthead Leek Show.
Judging takes place on the Saturday and an auction of all the wears on
Sunday evening. Not only leeks are shown, there are various other
categories: vegetables, flowers, pin wholes and baking. |

 Miners
Arms is a traditional 1700's pub, built of sandstone with open fires and
real ales. Our comfortable conservatory which is a
pleasant restaurant serving homemade food which is produced using fresh locally
sourced ingredients. Our customers can choose from a very varied menu with some
local recipes, as well as a good selection of world and vegetarian
dishes. Accommodation is clean and fresh. A visit to this pub
which is situated in a wonderful part of Britain is recommended, you will never be
disappointed. |
