Situated in a small village
between Kendal and Windermere, the Jolly Anglers
is very popular with walkers, especially those doing the Dales Way. We
are close to James Cropper's Paper Mill and their factory paper shop which
attracts many people. There are fishing rights to the River Kent for
anyone staying 2 nights or more. Dogs are welcome, in the bar and beer
garden. Since taking over, Patrick has made many
improvements including decor and food. Great old fashioned farmhouse
cooking is served, all is freshly prepared and the menus offer excellent
choice. With quality food and drink we are not to be missed.
