Walking groups & cycling groups may find our venue convenient. We have a

High Quality Traditional British pub food all freshly
prepared & cooked for order.
Main Menu & daily changing
special board available with children's options. Our Chefs are passionate about the high standard of food they
produce & together they create a tempting selection including
delightful choice of homemade desserts including Marsbar
Cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, chocolate pudding, pavalova, roulades,
cheescakes, ice-creams and crumbles.
All our desserts are homemade.
Main
specials only at our pub such as chicken Leoni, a chicken breast in a
parmesan batter, deep fried and topped with mushrooms and 2 cheeses and
the fox inn special - bbq spare ribs in our own bbq sauce. We now also
have sirloin steaks at 10oz if you fancy that bit more.
Wherever possible we source our ingredients locally, all of our
meats are locally reared & our Ice Cream is from 'Taste Of
Eden' of Westmorland. |

at The Fox Inn, with all the comforts of
a village Inn. We welcome everyone including walkers & bikers, and we
understand you may be a little muddy! We offer you a selection of drinks including good
wines to quench that well-earned thirst. Freshly cooked home-made
food is served in our dining room with a wealth of quality dishes to choose
from. Our main bar is welcoming with roaring log fires & exposed oak beams. There are open fires to warm you if you visit us when its
nippy. The Caravan park has spaces available for static caravans and offers wonderful views & marvellous walks. We look

Hartside Pass - We are located near the the A686 which climbs
the Hartside Pass to a height of 1904 ft, from where there are magnificent
views across the Solway Firth to Scotland. This long and steep climb also
forms part of the Coast to Coast Cycle Route. |
