CAMPING	Located opposite the pub is Cross Fell Caravan Park. This makes us the ideal base for your Lake District camping & caravanning break. Prices from Ł15 per night with electric hook up & tents at Ł5.00 per night. Open all year round.

FOOD AT THE FOX INN

High Quality Traditional British pub food all freshly prepared & cooked for order.
Main Menu & daily changing special board available with children's options. Our Chefs are passionate about the high standard of food they produce & together they create a tempting selection including delightful choice of homemade desserts including Marsbar Cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, chocolate pudding, pavalova, roulades, cheescakes, ice-creams and crumbles. All our desserts are homemade.
Main specials only at our pub such as chicken Leoni, a chicken breast in a parmesan batter, deep fried and topped with mushrooms and 2 cheeses and the fox inn special - bbq spare ribs in our own bbq sauce. We now also have larger sirloin steaks at 10oz & 12 oz.
Wherever possible we source our ingredients locally, all of our meats are locally reared & our Ice Cream is from 'Taste Of Eden' of Westmorland.

Monday - Wednesday: No food served.
Thursday - Saturday 6pm - 9pm.
Sunday 12noon - 2.30pm & 6pm - 9pm.

FOOD PROMOTIONS
SUNDAY ROAST	Available Sunday 12noon - 2pm. 2 locally sourced meats, 4 fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire puddings, roast and dauphinois potatoes. Three course Sunday lunch Ł15.00.

Good freshly cooked home-made food is served in or dining room with a wealth of quality dishes to choose from. Our main bar is welcoming with roaring log fires & exposed oak beams. There are open fires to warm you if you visit us when it is nippy. The Caravan park has spaces available at the moment for static caravans which offers wonderful views & marvellous walks. Hartside Pass - We are located near the the A686 which climbs the Hartside Pass to a height of 1904 ft, from where there are magnificent views across the Solway Firth to Scotland. This long and steep climb also forms part of the Coast to Coast Cycle Route.
