Fat Lamb Inn PhotoThe Fat Lamb Hotel dates back to the mid 1600's and its traditional appearance provides a warm and friendly welcome.  Under the same ownership since the 70's the Hotel has received many accolades over the years.  We aim to give all our customers modern facilities but with old fashioned hospitality in a relaxing and informal atmosphere.  Set in magnificent open countryside midway between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks we are an excellent place for short breaks, with the pub having first class accommodation with all facilities.  Our traditional well stocked bar is an excellent place to unwind in some peace and quiet.  We enjoy a good reputation from many returning guests for our high quality dishes, produced by our chef on the premises using local produce.  You can enjoy a meal in the bar or restaurant.  Outside you will find an informal garden and beyond, our private nature reserve which was begun as a hobby several years ago.  There are 7 acres of open water and wetlands, surrounded by flower rich meadows.  There is a short circular walk around the site where you can come into contact with a variety of animals and birds.  This is the ideal place to spend a few days.  I invite you to come and stay at the Fat Lamb and enjoy what beautiful old Westmorland has to offer you.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
